Great food and service! I'm never disappointed after a trip to The Tin Fish, Newburgh
Tonight was my first time eating at Tin Fish. I will definitely be back! I loved my blackened chicken taco, coleslaw and waffle fries!

Tin Fish is a restaurant where customers order at the counter. The fried fish is decent, and the fish is cooked perfectly with great flavor, as expected from a place that specializes in fish. The shrimp and clams are both very good. The grilled salmon tacos platter and large fish & chips platter are excellent, with fresh, quality fish cooked and seasoned extremely well. The best calamari ever eaten is available. However, the red snapper had very little flavor and was very dry, a big letdown. For the price, portions are too small; one filet isn't really a platter, fries are not included, and the cole slaw is only a few ounces. The bread pudding was dry with clashing flavors. The clam chowder has great flavor but is very runny with minimal ingredients. Service can be painfully slow. Despite this, the employees are very friendly, and the restaurant has care and charm. Prices aren’t cheap, but for the quality and portion sizes, the value is still there. Dining at Tin Fish is a must.
