“Yummy Mexican food! The staff was very attentive and checked on us frequently. Liked the seasonings on the fajitas. Meat was tender and the veggies were not overcooked. The prices are great with substantial portions. I also drank a margarita and it was good too. Will eat here again!“

“I am very pleased with every aspect of my visit to Zia's. The owners and their employees were great to interact with. They were very responsive to an information request submitted through social media channels, and they were open just as their listed times stated. I bring this up because my last visit to the area found that wasn't the case when the establishment was owned by different parties. The food (brisket) was exactly as I expected based on the many brisket's that I have smoked and lacked nothing in terms of the flavor of the meat and smoke. I was especially pleased that there weren't any overpowering rubs used that masked the true flavors of the brisket.Parking and seating are limited. Right now, that's not an issue. However, given the quality of the food, I can see it being a challenge once word gets out that there's a great BBQ place in the middle of nowhere that's worth the drive. This place is on par with a place that used to be open in Dawson Springs, KY called the Hickory Pit that gave Moonlite a run for its money. I worked at the Hickory Pit for several years in the early 90's, and smoke a lot of meat in Utah for many people. I feel that it gives me enough background to say that the only thing that will prevent Zia's from gaining the recognition it deserves is its location. With the right marketing efforts, that can be overcome.“
