“Nothing fancy. Seemed like a lil mom n pop pizza shop that had a buffet. Pizza buffets are hard to find anymore. Had a decent selection of different kinds of pizza where you could make request if you didn't see what you wanted. I'm sure we will return.”

“Just had lunch at the Garden Gate Cafe. I had the grilled chicken salad and took home a piece of the Hummingbird Cake. That’s the best food I’ve had out in I don’t know how long. The inside is just beautiful. The house dressing is fantastic and that cake. Ahhhhh!”

“We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We both had the brisket special. Just Wow!!! They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All our sides were very good also! We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat. Job well done!”

“Dillinger's Bar and Grill in Peru is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, and it quickly became a favorite after my first visit. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a hometown bar and grill—comfortable, inviting, and full of character. It has that perfect balance of being laid-back yet lively, making it a great spot to relax with friends or stop in for a good meal. I tried the Dillinger Classic Burger, and it was outstanding. The burger was clearly made with fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, and packed with flavor. The patty was juicy and well-seasoned, and it came together with the toppings to make a truly satisfying sandwich. You can tell care is put into the food here, and it shows in every bite. The service was just as impressive. The bartender was friendly, attentive, and really helped make the visit enjoyable. Great service always makes a difference, and it was clear the staff takes pride in taking care of their customers. Overall, Dillinger's Bar and Grill is an excellent spot with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back again soon and highly recommend it to others.”

“My family has eaten here before and it was good. We have not had bad service and the atmosphere is just fine. I thought a salad sounded good. I ordered The Big Chicken Salad...BIGISTAKE!! This was far the very worst salad I have eaten or at least tried to eat in a very long time! The chinchy amount of lettuce was old, it has tiny diced tomatoes on it when I asked for NO tomatoes, VERY minimal onion and shredded cheese and the MOST disgusting fake piece of chicken!! They did get the hard boiled eggs right. I'm not saying I won't go back but 100% will definitely never order this salad or any salad from there again! Very disappointed in the lack of quality salad that you should be getting for $13. Probably should have just went to the Wendy's next door for a salad...I bet I would have ate more of the Wendy's salad than I did of Wings pathetic overpriced Big Chicken Salad. Just save your money and don't make the mistake I made thinking I was going to get a great salad!”

“We stopped in for a late lunch. My wife and I shared the Mediterranean Pizza. We changed it a bit by adding chicken, removed the onions and replaced the garlic butter with marinara sauce. That pizza was amazing. The kids had their chicken strips, which were great, but as soon as they saw our pizza, they wanted some pizza too. Boy, it was good. My step-mother had the Italian sandwich. It was also great. Not only was the food so good, but the service was equally amazing. I will definitely bring my family here again each time we visit Peru. Thanks for the great experience!”

“Such an amazing place! Everyone is super friendly, prices are very reasonable and product is awesome! My son hurt his self really bad on the playground and Stacy in the apple barn was so sweet! She helped him get cleaned up and gave him a slushy to help calm him down… I live about an hour and a half away but definitely will return because of the great environment!”

“EXCELLENT customer service!!! I can’t thank the staff enough! We were there for my daughter’s soccer pizza party, everyone had a great time. When the party ended we found ourselves the last to leave, I got my two little ones together and we headed to the car. After getting them buckled, we go to leave and my car wouldn’t start. My first thought was to grab my phone and see if I could reach out to a friend maybe to come help as we don’t have family locally, I grabbed my phone and it’s dead. At this point we’re stranded, last thing I wanted to do was bother the staff but I wasn’t sure what else to do. So we headed back inside and I asked if anyone would possibly be able to jump my vehicle. The staff went ABOVE & BEYOND! Everyone was so pleasant and happy to help! The girls offered my little ones a snack/drink, and let me charge my phone some, they even played with my little ones/helped keep an eye on them for me while I believe his name was Corey helped me get my car jumped and good to go. They even told me I could call the store if we found ourselves stranded on our way home. We made it safely, replacing that battery asap. I truly appreciate all of your kindness! We already knew the food was great but seriously some of the BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced! Thank you all!”

“I placed a to go order and was told 15-20 minutes. When I arrived the same familiar faces, slappy, momma and cowboy greeted me although it’s been well over a year since I’ve been here. The food was ready, exactly as ordered and absolutely delicious! Gotta try the fully loaded cheeseburger and onion rings if you get a chance!! WORTH THE PRICE”

“We've been in the area and never noticed this place. Thanks to a bit of curiosity we will come back another time. Food tasted amazing and was quick to the table even with a group of five people. We came when they were dead so there was a fun bit of banter with the wait staff.”
