“Just had lunch at the Garden Gate Cafe. I had the grilled chicken salad and took home a piece of the Hummingbird Cake. That’s the best food I’ve had out in I don’t know how long. The inside is just beautiful. The house dressing is fantastic and that cake. Ahhhhh!”

Salad bar was great! So was the pizza! They offered to bring out any kind of pizza we wanted. Employees kept checking to see if we needed anything. Only &10.00 for full buffet. Pizza, Subs, Bread sticks, Cheese Dip, Soup & drink were all included.”

“We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We both had the brisket special. Just Wow!!! They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All our sides were very good also! We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat. Job well done!”

“well given the fact we went too Gaberiels and sat and only being maybe the 4th table their and of course our waitress forgot about us . so when another waitress came around and asked us for refills we said NO thank you we haven't even ordered yet!! we sat another 10 mins waiting on our waitress so we could order and nothing so the lady who did the refills told us not to worry and we got up and left!!”

“I have to update my review. I had a blast last night @ the best little dive bar in Peru. I had so much fun @ the Halloween party and it's great having a place like this too go out dancing and let your hair down. There's not many places to go and have fun (adulting) in a small town. The band Weird Science was so freaking awesome and they played all 80's music. Love them and they ROCK!!! This is my new favorite place to hang out at and the locals are great ✌️ FYI The skeleton guy never said a word all night and he made the perfect date. 🤣🤣🤣💀

First time I've been at Nickel Plate Saloon and I really enjoyed myself. When I walked in I was greeted and people were introducing themselves. I had a lot of fun playing pool. The atmosphere, music, staff and people in general were great.”

“I had ordered earlier today from Pizza Hut it was very disappointing, totally not worth what I paid. But later today I ordered another pizza from pizza quik , and they knocked it out of the park everyone loved the veggie pizza!”

“Literally the best breakfast I’ve ever had! Those pancakes were enormous and the syrup was so good!! The pancakes were fluffy and slightly sweet even on their own. I got sunny side up eggs with bacon as well, both delicious! Crispy bacon and the eggs were perfectly done.

The prices are also very good! 12 dollars for a meal that filling is very worth it, especially with how expensive other restaurants here tend to be. Will definitely be returning again! Thank you!”
