“Just had lunch at the Garden Gate Cafe. I had the grilled chicken salad and took home a piece of the Hummingbird Cake. That’s the best food I’ve had out in I don’t know how long. The inside is just beautiful. The house dressing is fantastic and that cake. Ahhhhh!”

Salad bar was great! So was the pizza! They offered to bring out any kind of pizza we wanted. Employees kept checking to see if we needed anything. Only &10.00 for full buffet. Pizza, Subs, Bread sticks, Cheese Dip, Soup & drink were all included.”

“We tried this place out on Valentines Day in the evening. It's a cute place and surprisingly, wasn't crowded. It was also conveniently located near our hotel. We told my brother and sister-in-law who happen to live close to Peru about it so maybe they along with my nieces will check it out some time.”

“We live about 45 minutes away so this was not on our radar to eat here, but glad we did while passing though town. We both had the brisket special. Just Wow!!! They did NOT skimp on their brisket portions or their sides! The brisket is right up there with some of the best I've had. VERY tender, juicy and falls apart. It was not tough or dried out at all. All our sides were very good also! We'll definitely come this way again and stop here just for the food. We love finding new 'destination' places to eat. Job well done!”

“Hands down the best real cidery in Indiana. Their dry ciders are comparable to some great English ciders, and their “Scotchy Scotch” (finished in Laphroig barrels) may be one of the best ciders I’ve ever had. With the juice being pressed from onsite apples, what’s not to love? Amazing service and a great selection of ciders, will definitely be back!”

I have tried most of their coffees, they are always quite good. I definitely recommend you try some of their specialty items, when they have them they're always quite the treat. always a nice place to stop for coffee ☕.”

“Wanted Prime Dub but they only have it on Friday and Saturday. My son had the all you can eat fish. I had the chicken strips it was okay but some of it was over cooked”

“Great food, and the staff is outstanding ! You can shoot pool or play cornhole or throw darts. There is even an outdoor patio! It's the best bar in North-central Indiana.”

“We were looking for a good place to eat on our travels. So glad that we took those extra few miles off of US 31 to try this place out. I had the meatball sub and my husband had the Stromboli sub, both were amazing! Do yourself a favor and stop here!

“It is a nice place to shoot pool and socialize with friends. The bar staff are usually friendly people especially Joshua and Catt. They have a Band or DJ at least 1 or 2 times a month and they have a great new age music player with reasonable pricing. The owners are also very nice people if you don't drink too much and cause a scene. It is also a smoking establishment.”

“I visited this evening at around 7pm this evening. They were extremely busy. The young lady that waited in me was super professional and they told me it would be a 35 minute wait. I was perfectly fine waiting because it’s always delicious! They called in their manager to help and he got everything caught up in the 20 minutes I was there. Food was excellent! That’s team work and leadership! Other surrounding Pizza Kings take note.”
