Narita japanese restaurant Reviews
very nice place!
The owner and employees are beyond sweet, his children that he brings to work with him are so adorable and sweet too. The only issue that I had was the cleanliness. I feel so bad making this review because I did see they were severely understaffed, but it was really gross, there was so much stuff just thrown on the counter. On the other hand, I watched him make the food and he is a good chef and food looked amazing. Genuinely, I will come and help you clean for no charge i'd love...read full review
The food was overall okay. The crab rangoons were the best part, but the sushi was overall pretty bland. Very little to no sauce or flavor in the rolls and one of the rolls I ordered was made completely differently than advertised on the menu, and made with things I tend to avoid in sushi. They also played a skipping version of the same song on repeat for the entire hour and a half we were here.
Narita Japanese Restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. The food, including sushi, miso soup, and bento boxes, is generally fresh and tasty, though some reviews mention that the sushi can be bland and lacking in flavor. The crab rangoons have been highlighted as a standout item. The restaurant's cleanliness and ambiance have room for improvement, as there have been comments about the cleanliness being an issue, with some customers noting that the counters were untidy. The dining area is spacious, but the floors can be sticky, and the overall appearance feels uninviting, with covered windows and an empty parking lot. The service is attentive and prompt, and the owner is noted for being sweet, often working alongside his children who add a charming touch to the environment. The restaurant is often quiet, offering a peaceful atmosphere, but it is also noted that it could use more customers to help improve the experience. While some diners had concerns about the food preparation, others found the katsu nice and crispy, and the beef box had tender meat with the right amount of crunch. With some improvements in both food preparation and cleanliness, Narita could enhance its dining experience.
