“Stopped in for a chocolate cake and bread. The cake flavor was good, but the crumb was on the dry side and needed warming to really shine. The ganache was enjoyable. The sourdough bread was fresh.

Service was friendly, though there seemed to be some hesitation when I selected the cake, which made sense in hindsight. I’d still come back and try other items.“

“My favorite grocery store in town. The employees are usually helpful and friendly. I get through the lines fairly quickly and the store is really clean and organized. The produce and meat selections are always fresh! Love the sushi and bakery. Beautiful floral section. I enjoy the selection of products and the prices are affordable. Recently used the locker pick up and delivery options which I found extremely helpful as a busy mother. And as a bonus, I recently discovered that I was able to have my Kroger card linked to Help the Animals here in town to donate a percentage of what I spend to the shelter.“

“HUGE shoutout to Lisa E in Bakery/Deli!!! I have been travelling all day and she sold out of mac & cheese, so she took me to the freezer aisle and helped me find a meal. She then offered to fully cook it for me without any hesitation. Sweetest and kindest person I’ve met all year! Truly made my day especially when it’s been stressful on the highways all day. First time to a Meijers and she made my experience amazing, I hope she gets recognition for all her hard work!“

“Drivers trying to reach this location, coming from I-70E/W take Hwy 27 South, turn left on N H ST/N 10th St, then make immediate right on Chester Blvd, KEEP STRIGHT!!! Go under bridge (N 9th St), KEEP STRIGHT!!! On Fort Ave to Bridge Ave and make a left into what looks like car parking lot. Once inside the gate make another left and around the building to Shipping/Receiving. Good Luck fast loading and unloading.“
