“I cannot say enough good things about the Deli Department at the Kroger at Northwoods in Vandalia. My Granddaughter had a garden wedding reception on July 15. She was on a budget for about 100 guests. She put me, her grandmother, in charge. I am from Columbus but visited Northwoods in my planning. From my first visit the person at the Deli spent time giving me options and tips and helped me formulate a plan. My order # was 806. How was I going to pick up the food, get it to the Wedding Venue (Secret Eden in Dayton) and get to the church by 10:30? My call to the Deli on the Monday before relieved my fears and they told me not to worry. 7:00 AM day of wedding, they had everything ready and helped us get it into carts and to our cars. They were so wonderful!!! The trays were beautiful!!! Food was delicious. Everyone and everthing exceeded my expectations. Beautiful store & wonderful people!“

“First time customer-The cake had a wonderful flavor and texture. Very light and fluffy. Well decorated. The only negative-I ordered/paid for chocolate mousse filling and was not in the cake ? cupcakes were delicious but small compared to other bakeries that I have ordered from in past.“

“These are some of the best donuts I've had in Ohio. I love the glazed yeast rings. The shop always smells so good and the staff are always super friendly. I love surprising my co-workers with donuts and then brining home extra for my husband. Hands down super good. 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!“

“Was actually visiting the Pilot Flying J, but Google has the address down for Cinnabon. There is a Cinnabon stand here. To be honest, I'm not positive that they are making fresh Cinnabon here and selling them. (Due to corona...........)“

“I'm a regular have eaten at Grist at least twenty times and it's ALWAYS good. This restaurant crafts the most amazing, 100% homemade, unique culinary delights that are so far elevated beyond what you typically find around downtown or even Dayton at large. The dishes, soups, and desserts are consistently excellent. While the service is usually fast, when they are busy, the food can take a while. I once waited nearly thirty minutes for a sandwich. They apologized and gave me one of their amazing chocolate chip cookies to make up for the long wait. The price can be a touch high for a lunch, but the quality and portion sizes are there. I see a lot of new staff so I can tell the owners are working on the improving their processes and service speed. Also the staff are always super nice and helpful. Thank you Grist for being in downtown Dayton.“

“Ok, I admit a degree of annoyance as we were just passing through Dayton and I thought it was taking a bit long for our meal to get to the table. Then the food arrived. Easily one of the better meals I’ve enjoyed in recent memory. I’ll come back and gladly wait for food so flavorful and carefully prepared.“

“Love crumbl and have visited a few locations. The atmosphere and staff are great, sometimes I just feel the cookies at this location are a little dried out or the topping is a bit off compared to the other locations. But I would still go back and definitely recommend.“

“The pretzels are excellent and this is worth a stop if you are in Dayton. I would even say it is worth a road trip. If you are like me, I had never eaten a fresh pretzel from a bakery before so opening up a bag of a half dozen pretzels and trying a fresh, out of the oven, pretzel was a new experience and I am not going back. My recommendation: get some fresh pretzels and a bag of frozen along with them. The frozen pretzels can be warmed up in the microwave, oven, or air fryer. I would say they are at about 95% the same experience as the fresh pretzels out of their oven.“

“I genuinely appreciate Ghostlight's vegan offerings. Even though Dayton is the sixth most populous city and the state's fourth-largest metropolitan area, the vegan selections in Dayton are pretty slim, so having a coffee house that has great treats and drinks that a vegan can imbibe is very much appreciated.“

“Those Tots mini donuts are SO goooood.Awesome bread selection- of course. The crock pot seasoning packets ( Pork & Beef are my faves ) Sooooo good.Snacks from JJs, UTZ, Hostess & Little Duchess cookies will satisfy any sweet tooth or need for crunch.I miss the Cinci store.“

“Ordered 12oz hot Van. Latte, 12oz hot Mocha, The Farmer w/ham, The Lunch bagel w/ham. Not my typical coffee flavor profile, but it was delicious. We could clearly taste the fruity notes. They were out of bagels, but the sandwhiches on English muffins were tastey. Quick friendly service. Was hoping for a bigger baked goods selection .. wanted that basic choc. Chip cookie ?. Will deff. be back! This was Midtown location & had easy access for parking.“

“My famiy from out of town we used to go there when they came to town. Love their food. I always liked there waffles and pancakes with the fruit on it(I like blueberry) the best with a side of bacon. I never liked wihip cream so I was happy that the kitchen staff too it off for me. I liked being there with my family it was great felt almost like grandma's home in her kitchen I was very nice and hommi I felt very comfortable being there.“

“Complete Mexican supermarket. The fresh meat section is big. All fresh produce is large and in good storage shape.All you need is here. Large frozen section. Beer cave inside. Completely stocked with many selections of different packaged or canned products.There is also a restaurant inside that is very clean.“

“I ordered a Strawberry white chocolate cookie cake for my Mom's birthday and it was delicious! Adam was so helpful in customizing the cookie cake and placing an order for me. The cake was ready by the scheduled pick up time and my mom LOVED it!It was very soft and rich. The Strawberry flavoring in it was so tasty and fresh. Highly recommend them!“

“I went to get two pies for Pi day. They have added individual slices and half pies as well as little individual sized pies. They have a great variety of fruit and cream pies, as well as cheesecake and cookies. The person who waited on me was friendly and cheerful. I got a lemon meringue pie and a banana cream pie as well as an individual cherry crunch pie. They were all delicious! Great selection and good value! Nice local business.Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to access.“
