“I don’t leave to many reviews, and usually when I do it’s to warn people not to go there. However, I was traveling back to Michigan and stopped at a bob Evans just off of 80/90 toll road in south bend Indiana and had the pleasure of being waited on by one of the most pleasant and professional waitresses I’ve ever experienced. Her name is Vivian and I’m sure she brings people back to this particular establishment. Thanks Vivian. You made my dinning experience A+“

“Trevor was our server and he was awesome. He made great recommendations, was friendly with our two year old, and was just the right amount of attentive. One of his recommendations was the scotch egg and I'm sad we didn't get two. It was excellent and even the two year old enjoyed it!All the food our table ordered was fantastic: salmon, Ham/brie/pear sandwich, the kids' hot dog and fries, and a Cobb salad. “If you haven’t been to Bin23 or haven’t been in a while, check them out. It’s a French Bistro with a very nice wine selection. I loved the Whipped Feta and the Le Colonial dish. My only lament is that they are no longer using their beautiful pizza oven as flatbreads are now off the menu. Seems like a waste. I think they are more focused on French cuisine than they were in the past, hence the change. Regardless, everything I had last Friday was wonderful and Zane was a very attentive server.“

“Crooked Ewe is one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bend area. They have a super unique menu and lots of interesting beer choices as well. Everything is super filling and delicious. The patatas bravas as a starter were a hit and I loved my brisket melt. If only you’re in the area for a weekend, this is one of the places you should circle on your South Bend dining list.“

“I love ordering steak tacos from this place. Lovely people and best taste in Mishawaka and South bend. Food is very flavorful and not dull in the slightest. You have to get rice and beans too they are to die for. I ordered guac and queso for the first time and was not disappointed. I added it to the tacos for more of a kick and was in heaven. It tastes like a home cooked meal and you feel great after. I ordered takeout and everything was perfect. Hats off to the chef and staff ?P.S. The guac was very fresh and tasty, needed nothing more to it. I have had so many bad guacamole from other places this was the icing on the cake ?“

“My husband went to pick up our order and was talking with the (I’m assuming) owner while waiting for our food to be ready. After finding out we just had a baby earlier this week we were given our meal for free! Not only was the food delicious, but the customer service is excellent. We’ve ordered from the Granger location twice in two weeks and will definitely be back!“

“Wanted to try something new, Zing was a random pick and we couldn't have been happier. Food was delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful. Best Ramen broth I have had outside of more famous bigger city spots. Tried multiple entree's and app's along with a sushi roll, all were spectacular.“

Several TVs for watching sports. Plenty of seats at the bar, and several tables. No one under 21 allowed. Full bar.“

“This is a hidden gem that has been around now for quite some time. The That's My Jam imperial wheat is my favorite! The staff are the best and remember you when you come in whether tour a weekly regular or come in a semi regular basis. Great beer and a chill location!“

“This is a cozy, hometown pizzeria with great food and a great atmosphere! We had the supreme pizza which was smothered in a red sauce with a flavor all of its own! It was topped with the stringiest mozzarella cheese and a generous potion of vegetables and a flavorful sausage. It was not chaotic with loud music playing. It was a very pleasant place to be able to sit and have a meaningful conversation without having to raise your voice in order to be heard. The tiramisu was delectably creamy and fluffy! Our waitress, kind as she was, could have checked on us a little more frequently. That is why service only got a 4 star. I will go here again and I highly recommend!“

“My review goes beyond the welcoming and homey atmosphere, the wonderful staff, and the simply delicious authentic food ( perfectly prepared from scratch I might add). I took my Dolset bowls in with me hoping perhaps I might get some as to seasoning my bowls, ( I had done it incorrectly ). Not only did the owner literally take my bowls and season them for me, she also taught me how to best cook in them, and if all that kindness wasn't enough she gave me a lid as my bowls did not come with any.Ever time we go we learn more about etiquette customs and Korean food.The owner is always sweet enough to smile and correct me nicely when I use a Korean phrase incorrectly. They also have Korean BBQ tables which makes for a great evening out cooking and laughing with friends. I hope you try this restaurant, yummy food and wonderful people. Michele F“

“I walked north from St. Mary’s College and this place was the busiest. Plenty of employees so the service was pretty fast. Good selection. I ordered the gyro platter and found it good tasting and plenty of food. Dining room was clean. On my walk back, it was still the busiest restaurant.“

“I was driving in from out of state and since my husband has reminisced about Kmart subs for YEARS, I thought I would stop by Scoobies to pick some up to bring home to him. Unfortunately I was only in town for the weekend, and even though they are closed on Saturdays, the owner so graciously offered to COME IN and make subs for me!! I couldn't believe it! Incredible customer service and my husband said the Kmart subs were DELICIOUS and SPOT ON. Thank you for going the extra mile to help me bring back a memory for him. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!“

We're always so afraid to take our child to a sit down restaurant because he has melt downs. Those are no fun for us nor people around us. But when staff sees small kids they move a little more swiftly and it's appreciated.“

“The food is classic mom and pop italian. I have been hoing here for years. It's a bar and restaurant, so dont expect the atmosphere that you get at olive garden, but its extremely friendly. “This place looks like an abandoned building so drive around back to find the door. No menu and waitress only spoke Spanish but the food was the bomb. Seriously. I eat all over the country and this is just real, real, real. The Mexican rice has nopales chopped up in it. You can taste the lard in the beans (rich and wonderful, not greasy). Steak tacos just as they should be... lightly seasoned, in corn tortillas, packed with meat. Can't believe my luck finding this place.“

“We have been eating here for years. Their food is delicious, reasonably priced and the service and staff are top notch. While I am not a huge fan of their crab Rangoon ( these are real and not the usual imitation) and the hot and sour soup in my opinion needs a little mor heat and sour. The rest of the menu is absolutely delicious. And between the 4 of us we have tried almost everything on the menu. Try for yourself I don't think you will be disappointed.“
