“A friend took me to your Restaurant 2/10 for my 1st visit we ordered the walleye fish Dinner and I had a cup of the Beer potato cheddar soup. While everything was delicious and we all got pie to go, I got Apple pie it was fantastic. Next time I'm Going to bring my Husband !! He will love this place too...if you haven't tried this restaurant you are really missing out.. The Staff were amazing and very helpful and service was fast! I give you 5 ***** Stars.. “J. Gumbos was a great place to stop to eat while we were on our roadtrip, passing through Terre Haute. It is a welcome respite to the chain restaurants that litter nearby US41 and fits in nicely with the downtown's vibe. Our portions were appropriate, prices were good and the food tasty.”

“This place is a hidden gem that could (unfortunately) be easily overlooked, due to the location. Do not make the mistake of passing it by...EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! The menu is not large, but it doesn't have to be. The quality of the food more than makes up for the small selection, and the portions are very generous. The owner's husband was the sole employee working, and was both very gracious and enjoyable to have a conversation with as we enjoyed our meal.”

“Scout's has amazing pizza, and such a good atmosphere. They have the coolest "secret" back room, and it is such a good hangout spot. The staff is always super nice. The pizza comes out fast too! If you want pizza in Terre Haute, I definitely recommend Scout's!”

“Flavorful THIN crust pizza! If you’re conditioned to prefer the ‘pizza bread’ sold at so many other places, this might not be for you. The crust was thin and crispy with flavorful toppings. Service was spot on and the atmosphere comfortable. Definitely will be back.”
