“My step-brothers, dad, used to live down the street and we would pop in there to surprise him when we got a ride down that way. Everybody at that bar was friendly, knowing we was only teenagers at the time, they would offer us food and pop at a side table, then boot us out afterwards. But it was all in fun, kinda one of the rights of passage back then. I would like to pop in again sometime. Almost 30 yrs later, I think I might be old enough to stick around this time lol.”

Everyone is so friendly, the atmosphere is super cozy, and I’ve never had a drink there I didn’t like.”

“To be honest we drove out to this tiny out of the way bar for the beef. Which was beyond amazing. I think they use garlic bread. It's so good. I was super excited when I saw Chili on the menu. Three different beans, a very light onion and tomato which is right up my alley. It had a good amount of beef, and I would put the spice level at a 4. But more than that it was way the spice comes in on the back end of every bite. Just fantastic. Needless to say, I was and am still impressed. As a bonus I was able to meet the mastermind behind this fantastic Chili. 8/10.”

“Our first visit last night was wonderful. We sat on the patio and the location was great and relaxing. The pizza takes some time but our cheese sticks came out quick. For such a small staff they do an amazing job. And the pizza is absolutely worth the wait!”

They make it perfect every time ♥️ we absolutely LOVE their soup too. The chicken & noodle is next level and so is the beef vegetable. Hot Mess will always be our favorite spot!”

“ordered route 2 pizza last night for dinner. Got a medium cheese pizza(kids), a medium sausage and spinach pizza, and two steak tacos, on corn, with cilantro, onions and cheese. I have got to compliment their AMAZING tacos. They were huge and the steak was so tender. I usually don't get steak out because i always get steak too tough or not enough flavor. This place is a pizza place but man their tacos are my favorite now. And the pizza, just as amazing with the right amount of toppings and didn't skimp on the cheese. I wanted to leave a review as I'm reheating my pizza in my air fryer right now, which comes out just as amazing as yesterday. Thanks route 2! My family really enjoyed dinner last night!”

“I absolutely love the food, the people and service is excellent. i order 4 grande Burritos every Friday for my guys at work, and even specify 4 red and 4 green sauce in the order, yet every time we get shorted sauce and someone has to eat a dry burrito. why is it so dam hard to supply the correct amount of sauce?”

“The food here is out of this world. I had the Mi Ranchito Enchiladas with potato cheese and chorizo. I have never had better mexican food. The rice and beans are perfect too. Love it here. Staff is friendly, cheerful and accomodating. Food comes out quick. There is plenty of space, ample parking. Will be back often!”

“We had the tenderloin sandwich. It was delicious and Huge. Not greasy and you could tell it was hand breaded. Got lots of breaded mushrooms as well. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The place isn’t fancy but the food and reasonable prices made up for it.”

“We normally go to the light house restaurant for there frosted mugs of ice cold beer and a snack. Always great food and friendly staff. Tonight we decided to try the Friday night cocos dining room experience. WOW! what a treat first they transform their back room to a smoke free, dining experience. Nicely decorated, soft music with fresh cut flowers and candle lights on each table. There's special add ons to the menu as they try different types of cuisine. There's a unique drink menu and frosted mugs of beer on draft. To make it your dining experience is no less than perfect. you are served by the persons who just happens to be the chef and bakery chef and owners. Make sure you make reservations as to not miss out on this culinary experience. They serve from 5 to 8 pm on Fridays. We had the double pork chop,full slab of ribs. Bruschetta that was awesome . The ribs melted in you mouth nd BBQ sauce is to die for. The double pork chop is wonderfully smoked and cooked to perfection. Be sure to save room for the totally awesome cheese cake.
