Omgosh, this was the cutest little gem. My granddaughter and I stopped by for a quick dinner after school. I ordered my steak burrito. It was so fresh and delicious. New to town and I am so glad I learned about this place while reading a Facebook discussion on the best Mexican restaurants in Lowell/Cedar Lake. Had it not been for the discussion, I would have never discovered Mexico Chiquito. The staff person I encountered was very friendly and seemed to have a more than familar relationship with several patrons. This is what a local business is all about. I absolutely love the freshly made tacos and tortilla chips! If you peek in da kitchen you might catch a glimpse of abuela cooking. I love that! This is ALWAYS my 1st stop when traveling to Chicago from Southern Indiana. Feels like I'm in abuelas home!!Kid-friendliness: I come with my two younger sons every time. And we are treated like family!!
