Great place to have breakfast or lunch when you are shopping at the flea market. On a hot summer day, this is the only place here to have a sit-down meal in an air-conditioned building. The menu is typical of a locally owned restaurant. The service and portion sizes are better than we find at 'chain' restaurants. Some items seemed a little pricey, but, the portion size makes up for it. Unfortunately, they are only open 3 days per week.
Had the buffet option, everything was delicious and fresh. Waitress was very attentive, never had my water glass empty. Highly recommend as a great option for dining.
I used to eat here every morning with my grandparents Windell and Darlene who used to sell Tshirts here for years and years. This place is amazing the food was always delicious. 👌 I wish I could remember the other place in town who had a pancake that went over the edge of the plate. I love Ahmish food, and miss coming to this area.

The Shipshewana Auction Restaurant offers a mix of Amish-inspired and cafeteria-style dining experiences. The convenient location near the Shipshewana auction and flea market is a highlight. The food is amazing and delicious, with menu items like the pork burger and patty melt being liked very much. The French fries and coleslaw are really good, though the chicken tenders were just okay. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the service is excellent and good. Overall, it provides a convenient and welcoming dining option for visitors to the area.
