Always forgetting something on an order. I have ordered here 3 times through DoorDash and everytime I have ordered something I’ve received a main side missing. Yall need to stop having kids run the front if they cannot properly pack and make sure everything is in the bag that someone ordered. The food is not cheap and to spend 20+ on an ordeand have something missing is highly annoying. Don’t recommend. Will not be spending my money here anymore.
I eat here every Sunday and no matter what they never fail me. Their food is beyond delicious. The atmosphere and service is AMAZING. They are very loving and friendly. I recommend Deja soul to any and everybody.
I love Deja Soul, best catfish in the area, yams are so good, great cornbread and black eyed peas over rice, friendly family owned, clean and cute inside. Plenty of parking in the back, also street available. Great door dash, Facebook, and Google reviews.

Deja Soul is a must for great soul food, with many calling the food a 10/10. The dishes are consistently hot, fresh, and delicious, with everything seasoned well. Portions are huge and will get you full. Specific praised items include the smothered pork chops, fried chicken, fish and spaghetti dinner, and country ribs. Sides like mac and cheese, mash potatoes, baked beans, and yams are perfectly prepared, with the cornbread muffins highlighted as so good and worth every penny. The restaurant offers many flavors of Kool-aid. The inside is beautiful, clean, and very cozy. The people are very friendly and the folks are very friendly. Be prepared for a long wait as they are extremely busy, but it is worth the wait. Calling ahead for pick up is suggested. Parking is available in the front and more in the back.
