“I was passing through town and found this place via Google search, and I'm glad I did! The staff is wonderful, warm, and friendly (Zara, my server, was excellent!). Even the owner was happy to stop and talk about culture and cuisine. I had a few pieces of a la carte sashimi and then a sushi/sashimi combo. All of the fish was very fresh and properly sized. I would have like to see a bit broader offerings (kizame, ama ebi) that were on par with the quality of the fish, but overall I was very happy and the prices are reasonable. Be sure to try the red snapper soup!“

“King cut med. rare prime rib was magnificent. The au-jus was so good that I'd order it as a beverage. The wife had the lightly breaded walleye. She said it was very good. The house salad was better than expected. We ordered the spinach dip with chips. Very nice. We were there on Thursday at 5 pm. Our dip and chips came quickly, then our salad soon after. But our entrees came too soon. The kitchen should have held off 15 minutes or so. All in all, it was a teriff9c experience. Cannot wait to go back. Bill was $90.00, which included a dessert to go. Tip commensurate with the bill.“

“Was pleasantly surprised! Me and my girls met my dad and Aunt for dinner tonight and Rhonda was our waitress and she did an excellent job of seating us and getting us served,the food was amazing. We had pizza and I got the special of steak and shrimp and was blown away by how tasty everything was. This place is a true hidden gem in Syracuse and I would suggest anybody looking for somewhere tasted to eat to try this out.“

“Quaint nostalgic diner atmosphere with good food & fair prices. Take 6 out of Nappanee to 15 & you can’t miss it. Opens at 6am. Great stop on the way in to the office or yard in Goshen. I recommend the 3-egg omelette with ham & toast!“

“Ben here twice in the last couple weeks. The first time was ok. But not the greatest selection. Of course it was 30 minutes before closing. But clean and polite staff Was back today during mid afternoon 2:30-3:00. Fully stocked. Same polite staff. Refills taken care of and clean restrooms. I don’t live in this town. But when I am I. Town. I will visit. 15.00 with drink. For that selection of food. Heck I spend that much at a burger joint. Worth going if this is your type of food.“

Not only can you enjoy the view of the lake while you’re eating from inside or outside at their tables you can also pull up with your boat from the lake. Stop by and pick up your order or eat on their deck!! if you don’t have a boat, you can ride the Dixie before or after dinner with your family ♥️. If you have a little bit of a wait, they have a playground and beach there for the kiddos! There’s even outdoor restrooms available if needed.
