It's one of only Chinese buffets in our area of Terre Haute and like many soon go out of business, I like these Chinese buffet because they have alot to choose from as in variety but the food is often cold and they seem to hire people that don't care either! I go for the sushi because I love it and don't seem to have a problem with it! They can do better with the atmosphere and friendly personnel but one thing I will say is I don't like when I'm being rushed out by Chinese people...read full review
I have never considered myself a food snob. I was put to the test several days ago when I visited East Star for first time to celebrate granddaughter’s birthday and who had chosen this restaurant. If this is the only option for Chinese “cuisine” in the Terre Haute area then you’d be better off with frozen meal. Lots of food items but nothing was labeled.
