Ginger Ale's Terre Haute - South

Good drinks, filling a niche in the area for non-coffee lovers wanting a treat. We’ve frequented the Terre haute location since its opening and overall have had great experiences. The only issues I’ve had were receiving sugared syrups in a sugar-free requested drink which sent my child’s (T1D) blood sugars through the roof. Maybe it was me not specifying sugar free syrups in a diet soda, maybe they didn’t hear me when I ordered. Idk it wasn’t the end of the world and we both learned when I called with the concern. Overall though I’ve NEVER had a rude interaction there an honestly feel quite the opposite every interaction I’ve had has been friendly and “bubbly”. I’ve had the food on occasion and it was on par with my expectations. But I don’t really know anyone that goes there for the food. The drinks are the star and embrace that. If you want GREAT food go elsewhere, if you want a quick bite with your drink then give them a try and prices I believe are fair and on par with any other specialty drinks in the area (7brew, Starbucks, scooter’s).

I’ve visited here MULTIPLE times, and unfortunately every time was even more disappointing. I was served by different staff each time and all of them were flat out rude. No manners or even a positive attitude. This evening, the girl taking my order couldn’t hear causing frustration between the both of us. A common occurrence might I add. Just very sad because I love their drinks, but not the service. :(

everytime i’ve been here it’s been horrible, or something has been messed up. i got over charged for something i didn’t order and the employees are all so rude. i will not be back to this location. the one in vincennes is so much better and way more professional!

I got cinnamon pretzels . And a piña colada Gingerale, which was absolutely amazing.

Their prices keep rising - it was almost $8 for a drink. Food is in general just awful reheated stuff, so I don't get it anymore.

Last time, I had to repeat myself over and over again so that I could put in an order because the music was too loud. Finally got my drink, yay!

As soon as I pulled out the overfilled drink spilled all over my cup holders.

That's my last time.

Before I even got my coffee, I was disappointed because a large iced coffee with almond milk was $6.75. That's far too expensive. Next layer of disappointment was when I saw it was given to me in a Styrofoam cup. But the ultimate disappointment was that they gave me a sweetened iced coffee without me asking for that. Now they'll probably say that their iced coffee is always sweetened, but the sign didn't say that and I had no way to know that. Maybe this isn't a coffee shop and more so it's just a soda place. That's the only explanation I could think of of why they would get the price wrong and the coffee so wrong.

I never knew you could walk in and order until about a week ago. I thought it was drive through only; it's not. Anyways, everything's good. I like butter beer, thanks

I don’t like pulled pork but got two orders of it. The staff is friendly and fun! Always enjoy stopping by after south, love the location!

I’m giving 2 stars because I do love their snacky type foods and drink selection. I was really excited when I heard they were opening. I’ve been multiple times now and every time it’s a disaster. I tried once again and when ordering for my family of 3 (3 drinks and 3 food items) the lady through the speaker couldn’t hear me well so instead of telling me to pull forward and take my order at the window she kept trying to struggle to hear me. She gave me my total when I wasn’t done ordering yet. Then I proceed to pay, it was almost $40, drinks are pricier than Starbucks and not as good. I go to the drink window they forget one of my drinks, so I have to wait on that. Then I go to the food window to pick up and they don’t have one of my food items I ordered and then told me the only ones they have are frozen so it will be a wait. I opted for a different food item because I didn’t have the time to wait. I wish I would have known prior to paying because I wouldn’t have gotten anything. The staff is friendly and they did apologize a couple times. It’s not their fault but someone needs to re evaluate the process because every time I go here it is always a clustered mess. Sadly taking Ginger Ale’s off my rotation when in south TH.

I stop and get a drink in any town with a Gingerale’s but they are always so friendly here. Only thing that would make it better is bringing back the marshmallow boba hint hint

I loved gingerales. So much. I visit at least once every two weeks. Went today and they no longer have pretzels. I know first world problem, but that’s the only reason I went, my friends and I are so upset. Bring back the pretzels, NOT JUST THE BITES.
