“This place is great. We stopped on our way to Kentucky. We ate lunch here. The staff was really friendly and helpful and really fast. The food was amazing. We got everything from burgers and fries and strawberry shake ? one thing to be aware of they give you a big portion of fries ? witch was awesome ?“

“Old style dining. The morning we were there, the owner had decided to close after breakfast, didn't expect it to be busy, and only had one waitress working. Nobody was in a hurry and one of the customers even helped to wipe off tables. This may not appeal to many people, but we absolutely loved watching this kind of community. Food was fantastic, food was cheaper than expected, and we got exactly what we wanted out of the experience.“

“The Local catered a lunch for a training group at my work today. Everyone had great things to say about the meal. It was delicious and the setup looked very nice! They were so easy to work with as well. Our meal consisted of chicken salad on croissants, Italian beef sandwiches, lettuce salad, pasta salad, fruit salad and a chocolate sheet cake. We will definitely have The Local cater our next event.“

“What a wonderful surprise. A quaint little cafe in Wallace Indiana. Ms Linda made us feel right at home!! Home style cooking, reasonable prices and great service. The catfish special was so good, and the homemade Butterfinger cheesecake was delicious​!! We happened to visit on the night of live gospel music. Check out this small town cafe, you'll feel like you've gone back in time.“

“I'm visiting here from Illinois and my buddy lives like, 2 blocks away. We got there late and they were SO nice! Didn't have to wait for food, and the portions were HUGE. I got chicken strips and fries, it came with green beans, and I got cole slaw on the side. The staff was so polite and attentive, we really appreciate the hospitality and I'll be back for sure!“
