A neighborly bowling alley that took me back to the days of my youth in Hoopeston with the local farm cousins. But make no mistake, there ain’t nothing ‘fast’ here. Well, the Hemi ‘Cuda in the parking lot might qualify, sure. [Inside, keep it inside!] The service is helpful, smiling, good and ready, of course. Especially with the clear as day pride and work ethic of cool owner (former police officer, been mentioned to me) Doug making his speedy rounds at all management levels. The plentiful, delish food comes to table reasonably quick also. Yours to eat ‘slow’ however.Easy going, nice atmosphere, great fun meal. Quiet enjoyment for a solo, a soft couples luncheon date, or a whole family. Dang fine! “We stopped in for lunch having never been to this restaurant (or town) before. Addi was our waitress/server. She was perfect in every way, friendly, efficient, and great at her job. In this day and age of poor customer service and work ethic running rampant, she was a shining example of how it’s supposed to be. Food was quick, hot, and tasty. Highly recommend this place for a quick lunch stop.“
“First time there, walked in 4 minutes before closing without knowing. They took care of my order for three to go anyway and offered for us to stay and eat. (We did not, I already felt bad for having them cook at closing)Food was great, prices are fair and the service was fantastic ?We will be back often and I'm looking forward to the upcoming breakfast menu ???“
