Was in the town for business and had lunch at this great little dinner in downtown Hoopeston IL. I ordered the hamburger and fries and everything was freshly cooked and tasted great. You could tell the locals really knew the staff and really enjoyed each other. The service was excellent and they were prompt and very polite. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.
Not too long after we made Hoopeston our home, COVID happened, and we never got around to checking out Mr. B’s Cafe. Tonight we had a tiny slice of time between school and the board meeting—and we scooted in to give Mr. B’s a try. WOW. Best burger I have eaten in a long time! Great, prompt service, and bonus-they have Dippin’ Dots and soft-serve! Loved it, can’t wait to go back!

First time there, walked in 4 minutes before closing without knowing. They took care of my order for three to go anyway and offered for us to stay and eat.
