“We kept hearing great things about the fried chicken. It totally lived up to the hype! The food is really good. The homemade ham and bean soup is very good. We'll have to try some homemade dessert another time. The prices are very good as well. Enjoyed the small town friendly atmosphere. Check out the Tavern. You won't be disappointed! ??“

Smoking ? allowed bcuz it's on the Indiana side of Stateline Rd. Live musical entertainment couple/few nights a week ??️? Down to earth, cool ? and kind crowd. Just might be the place for you ?‍♀️“

“This is a fun bar to go to on a Friday night. They play football games. There is no food menu but they do offer for you to get food next door at the Mexican restaurant and bring it in. Drinks were reasonable at $8 for an old fashioned. They offer a nice selection of bourbon.“

“Amber A was a terrific server. We had bloody Marys which were well made. She made certain that we had plenty to drink and our meals were as ordered. The hot slaw was very savory and the peanut slaw had a great taste and crunch. The cod logs were cooked well and flaky. Very nice meal. For a Friday dinner time, it was busy and there was a very small wait for a table.“

“I went to listen to a great concert & didn't order food. This was my first visit, but it certainly won't be my last! Employees & guests were all so friendly! A staff member greeted me, and he went the extra mile to help me feel welcome! Thank you ?“

“First time here after work with buddies. The ladies working were nice enough, but we were there over an hour and I only had two drinks, one of which was cause it was last call and my friend spoke up and asked for me when it seemed like I was being overlooked again. There was only four people, three of which was my party. Friends all had beer, and they were asked multiple times if they needed refills. Maybe it's cause I didn't have a clear glass, that they didn't know I was empty, but I mean. . . Sitting there, not drinking, cup pushed away from me. Ask me?Not gonna knock a star, because it was my first time here. Probably not the norm. And heck, maybe I'm just spoiled by my normal bar and should speak up myself.Also! There is smoking inside. I get it, it's a bar. Just not something I'm used to with my normal bar as well.“

Great atmosphere, staff and customers alike are so nice and welcoming, the food is GREAT and comes out red hot and is reasonably priced, a full bar, Karaoke some nights, and a little bowling alley. “Bar tender was a sweet and responsive lady. Karaoke KJ was not only an amazing singer but also had one of the best sound setups. Good crowd of people having fun. Pool tables in the back.The KJ would also do backup and/or sing male duet parts. One of the nicest KJs I’ve met and I do karaoke all of the US. Only issue was the KJ wouldn’t take my tip! A++ Highly recommend.“
