Went here for the first time during Greater Lafayette Restaurant week 2024. We had the glazed honey balsamic chicken dinner, and it was wonderful. The deserts were also great. The service was very good, and it had a wonderful atmosphere for a quiet dinner with friends. Definitely need to make a reservation as seating is limited. We will be back! They have a full menu on their website. You will need to tell them your order before you arrive. (I think they asked for it before noon the day of your visit when making the reservation.)

This was our third visit to The Whittaker and it did not disappoint. We were here to celebrate a birthday and it was a dinner to remember. Everyone loved all their dishes but the crab cakes and desserts were easily the stars. Can’t wait to go back!

The Whittaker was recommended by a friend and was even better than we expected. Service and amenities are exceptional. Rooms are unique and very clean. Food is delicious! Nice quiet spot just off the beaten path! Would have enjoyed being able to purchase a glass of wine with dinner but not a big deal!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had the best time. The host, owner Elizabeth, is very much involved in making sure our experience was great. Our room, The India, was beautifully furnished and the shower was awesome, it had body jets as well as a rainhead shower. We enjoyed dinner as well and the chef outdid himself. I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed the stuffed pork chop which was perfectly prepared as well. The baker made us a special cookie to celebrate, that was a wonderful surprise. The cheesecake we had for dessert was melt in your mouth delicious. The included breakfast the next morning was also tasty. I ordered the bread pudding with pecan praline sauce, It was the best bread pudding I have ever tasted. Another nice touch was the "night kitchen" available 24/7 and included in the room price. There was a coffee/tea machine, a fridge with water, soda, juices and flavored water. There were also snacks available. We are already planning our next visit!!!

Amazing service, delicious breakfast, clean, convenient and comfortable! We stayed in the India room and the spa shower was amazing!! Night kitchens stocked with snacks and beverages was a fun little surprise.

We have stayed twice at the Whittaker Inn. Andrew and Elizabeth Whittaker are very friendly and gracious hosts. Their inn is very clean and comfortable and has nice amenities and excellent customer service. We enjoyed the home cooked meals for dinner and multiple breakfasts. For both stays, our rooms were very comfortable. It was quiet and the showers are large and luxurious, with rain shower heads. We also really appreciated the common living spaces which we were able to use for social time with our family (we were visiting our son who is a student at Purdue). Overall, we have had great experiences at the Whittaker Inn and would recommend it.
