“Ate at this location today at around 2:30pm. Sign on the door forewarned customers that due to staffing issues orders would be handled via kiosk. Didn’t stop one guy from standing at the counter and causing a scene. He was rude and verbally abusive. The two young ladies behind the counter could not have handled the situation with any more professionalism and dignity than they did. Management should be made aware of well they did. My wife and I will return here when in the area based on this experience. 👏👏“

“I just want to give some credit where it's due. These places don't always have to go above and beyond to deserve a review. I come here a couple of times a week and I always have complicated mobile orders. They fill them on time and correctly, the restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly even though I'm doing is just using a mobile app. And I just want to say I think that's worth noting in this day and age. That makes the drive so much nicer“

“This location never misses! You know sometimes certain locations are better than others and it’s a hit or miss? Not this location! Five guys is my guilty pleasure, I eat it probably once a week, literally every single time the burgers are perfection.“

“I was wondering why my mobile ordering wasn’t going through, and I realized I made the mistake of selecting the wrong restaurant to pick up from (accidentally selected the 146th St. location). The manager at this location (King) was behind gracious to take my order and put a rush on the prep. Exemplary customer service and definitely will be back many more times in the future!“

“I used the Drive up The food was prepared in a timely fashion. The person at the window that takes your money and hands out the food was very friendly, nice and efficient. The food was very tasty. Seemed to be freshly repaired and hot and we got the fish sandwiches and fries. Thank you.“

“I just want to say how much I love the people here. It is a really hot day, and a homeless man walked in, he was having trouble even getting in the door. Holding on to it for a while to get strength to move. He was talk8ng to a lady at the counter, and she came out from the back, and helped in to a chair, then brought him out water. As she was walking away, I approached to offer to buy him a meal. She said no, she has already got it for him. Apparently, he does come by when it is bad, and she makes sure he doesnt go hungry.
I do not know if this is the company policy, the manager policy, or just the worker doing it, but it made my day. I am more use to people being forced to leave, but she treated him with dignity, and helped where she could. I am very much goinng to nake this a more common return outing, if only to support people who treat people well, no matter what is wrong with them.“

“I haven't been to a Steak 'n Shake since they waited on you at the table. I have decided that I don't mind ordering at the kiosk and picking up the food at the counter. The new system eliminates the chance of a poor server. The food was good and the tallow fries are great. Both times I have been here recently, everything was very clean. The kiosk screens were even cleaned while we were there. Overall, it's not too much more than fast food but way better food!“

“Great as usual. Sad that I couldn't get the impossible sliders due to time of night but that's my work's fault. The chicken rings were fire as always! Will definitely continue eating here. Just have to remind myself if I want plant based gotta get there before 10:30 or 11pm not sure when that grill gets turned off.“

“A dying breed of restaurants where food and atmosphere once used to be exciting. These days it lacks customers and most of the time it’s empty. This particular location is good with some nice service. Food can be better and the bar tenders need some training over proper mixing of drinks. That said, overall a good place to pass some time with friends.“
