“🚨🗣️&nD I just wanna let y’all know that this man knows what he’s doing back there in that kitchen. I had some jerk chicken tips and added bbq sauce to em, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and rice & beans! All for $23! WELL worth it. I don’t even eat beans and rice and his was so flavorful and soulful my GAWD! I think I’m going back today! The chicken tips were so TENDA!!!! And I ain’t have to dig through no bones! STRAIGHT MEAT! Video and pics in the comments! Go check him out guys he typically opens @11am! So many different options! Thank me later bewsssss! Chicagoan’s stop acting like it’s a road trip to Indiana! “Oh this was the find! I love oxtail - and I cook it at home from time to time. When I say they cook it about 10 times better than me, my mama, my auntie and grand aunties I mean that with all the love I have for the cuisine. Absolutely the bomb. Normally I grab a few things off the menu to judge the over all quality of a restaurant. They have me hooked off the first plate.
I will be grabbing a lunch special and ginger beer every time I come to Chicago now!“

“PLEASE!! ! Take your money somewhere else! This place is a complete ripoff for MEDIOCRE food! How do you advertise something as a “ dinner” and then have the AUDACITY to charge people for rice and peas. That is soo absurd! It’s extremely expensive for trash food and rude service. “I placed a large catering order for my office. They were very friendly, accommodating, and super easy to work with. The food was exceptional. Jerk chicken was tender and juice with fantastic spiced skin and delicious sauce. We got the ital stew, so flavorful. The rice and beans and the patties were also really great. My staff was very pleased with the meal and it was a great price to feed a large group. Definitely an excellent local catering option.“

“They need to be arrested because it should be a crime for food to taste this good! Everything was scrumptious. The oxtails litteraly melt in your mouth, the chicken alfredo tasted like a Jamaican grandma made it (tip: add some jerk sauce into the Alfredo and you get a whole other kick!!) in her kitchen! The Jerk chicken had so much flavor it didnt need the sauce and the piece de resistance: The Beef Patties!! The crust was super flaky and the mincemeat well spiced. Finally: the portions are megasized. I shared with 4 people and still had so much left! Even though the restaurant was 30 minutes from my office, everything arrived piping hot, so their packaging is top notch! Run, dont walk to Jerk It Iz. My whole office is ordering from them tomorrow!“

“Thank you! Came in tonight and had our favorite crab cake dinner! The tequila sunrise was very very good and it was not weak!! We had a great time, great food and wonderful service!! WE DEFINITELY ARE COMING BACK!!“
