“The atmosphere made up for the fact that the staff was mostly focused on locals... Waiters and waitresses were not really attentive at all. But sitting outside on the patio overlooking the water and feeding the giant goldfish was pristine!”

Food and service was excellent. This was more like how the food tasted at one time. Great job. We will now be going back.”

It has been hard to reach them on the phone in the past. Perhaps this has gotten better. You can walk into the gas station and order easily, though. This is probably a better option as it walks you through the menu in a manner that makes it easy to customize your order.”

“Stopped for breakfast this morning with our kids/grandkids. Stood by the door for 10 minutes waiting for 1 of the 4 waitresses to seat us. Several empty tables but not once did anyone try to communicate or even say "hello"? Finally asked one of them if we should seat ourselves and she acted rude and didn't really answer what we were suppose to do? We left.... Thank God Kendallville and Lagrange are close by with restaurants that know how to treat customers.”

“The best pizza I have had in YEARS!!! They don’t skimp on toppings and the flavor of the sauce was spot on. I live about 25 miles from this place but this will be my go to for pizza. Soooo worth the drive. The prices were very affordable too.”

“Our family tries to do brunch every couple of months now that we're all busier, and Maria's has become a favorite meet-up. Aside from some tight seating (which really isn't terrible for us), we've quickly come to love the service and food no matter who's there or what we order.”
