“I started going to the Palomino back when it first existed. When the Shrine Horse Patrol moved from 106th St., opened it up, built the facility with a ballroom, kitchen and bar and stables for their horses. I’ve spent many hours out there and it’s a great facility. My eldest niece had her reception there 30 years ago. I know it’s changed hands since then but I hear it’s still a great place to host a special event.“

Great communication from the beginning and especially when they are on the way with our order. The real time tracking is a nice bonus! “We had Indy Anna’s do our catering for our wedding this past weekend for Valentines Day & everything was so so delicious. We did entrees of the beef tips in burgundy sauce & chicken cordon bleu. For sides, we did glazed carrots, green beans with almonds, mashed potatoes & dinner rolls. Appetizers we did fruit, veggie, cheese, crackers & last minute we asked for chocolate dipped strawberries since it was a Valentines wedding & they nailed it!! Super accommodating even with a last minute ask. We also had cookies which were such a hit for the kids! I ate 4 of them the next day. Haha. I had SO MANY people tell me at the wedding & look at me while we were all eating & point to the food saying how delicious it was. Everyone was very impressed with this caterer. “Ordered from their food truck for the 1st time. Had 3 meat meal with 2 sides for 27 bucks. Burnt ends, Rib tips, & brisket. Out of the 3 I enjoyed the brisket the best. Burnt ends were mostly fat. The rib tips were not that great. Portions for sides are very small. Had fries & Mac n cheese. Both were ok, served hot n fresh. The BBQ sauce was very good! Food over all lacks smoke flavor & has small portions for price point. I'd definitely give them another go next time if they visit again. Offered a bag for meal , no napkins, silverware, wipes or drink offer. 3 half stars.“

The man who took our order let us sample some Of the sides…we were completely satisfied with everything we tried & ordered (brisket, hush puppies, corn bread, greens, Mac & cheese). Best brisket I’ve had in years! My daughter said her Mac & cheese was to die for! Incredible dining experience. I wish we lived closer so we could patronize them more. Just GO there already!“

“We held our October 2022 wedding ceremony and reception at Liter House and loved the experience! Drew and the whole event staff were helpful, kind, and easy to work with. We loved our brunch reception with delicious breakfast food and classic Sahm’s coffee cake. The event space is warm, inviting, and the right size to host lots of different types of weddings or gatherings. Also, the location is perfect - the Monon trail is a gorgeous place for pictures and features a lot of cool artwork/murals. I definitely recommend checking out Liter House for your event!“

Great menu options - I recommend the 3 course dining option-it was perfection-very generous portions so be prepared to take some home. The food was delicious and elegantly served.
