“Indy Tacos is a great hidden treasure in the city. This is near my place in broad ripple and the first time i stopped in here was while i was working and needed a quick meal that wasn’t fast food.
Since then i come regularly when im working in the area.
This is what I would call street food. If you eat in the seat you, take your order and serve it at the table. The owners / operators are great and friendly and you can tell they enjoy what they are doing.
Generally there is a special or 2 daily. My go to is usually the chicken tamales or Piccadillo tacos (ground beef). Sometimes I come in with my workers and they go for the tortas and loved them.
The atmosphere here is essentially a Mexican diner. Nothing fancy but what you’d expect and it’s always clean and friendly. Your can be out for under $15 any day with a $6 special or 2 (I always have water so it cuts the cost down).
The food quality is good for the price point and if you’re looking for a quick decent meal this is your place.
Local places get a google bump to help w traffic on their ratings.
Real rating for me here is a 4.2. You can’t go wrong stopping in“

“Our food was great! Think our server was in training. Pleasant but had to ask for simple things the server brings like a menu, napkins, etc. Biggest thing that bothered us was how dirty it was. Puddle of water in one location, trash on floors, and acrylic separators covered with fingerprints and slimy food GROSS“

“Salty Cowboy Tequileria (Zionsville, IN) – Solid Tex-Mex with standout burritos and a strong beer list.
Salty Cowboy delivers exactly what a good neighborhood Tex-Mex spot should: flavorful, no-fuss food in a casual, lively setting with outdoor seating and a bar that knows what it’s doing. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a bite outside on the patio in summer or settle in the bar for a few rounds without feeling rushed in the winter.
Wednesday’s are great on the patio with live music by Luke.“
