“We hadn't found Any bbq place we considered going back a second time too, until now. This is what smokehouse bbq is supposed to be. The meats are moist and tender and the flavors are incredible. We had different sides to try and loved them all. Friendly, Delicious and Now our go to for Amazing bbq!“

“I graduated from school with LaVale Jackson and have since seen he has succeeded in owning his own restaurant called 7.8.5 Kitchen but had never made it over there to try the food until today...I have been craving some soul food and went today and was very satisfied with it! 5/5 stars ⭐️ for sure! My pregnant self got all my extra sides to take to work tonight and ate my fried catfish, cornbread, and greens while I was at the restaurant!😍 It was delicious and nice to see some good soul food in Topeka, thanks LaVale!“
