“I graduated from school with LaVale Jackson and have since seen he has succeeded in owning his own restaurant called 7.8.5 Kitchen but had never made it over there to try the food until today...I have been craving some soul food and went today and was very satisfied with it! 5/5 stars ⭐️ for sure! My pregnant self got all my extra sides to take to work tonight and ate my fried catfish, cornbread, and greens while I was at the restaurant!😍 It was delicious and nice to see some good soul food in Topeka, thanks LaVale!“

“Like most places with road signs and TV's on the wall they push casual and beer. The food is good and the service quick and you park near the door. They have a fair size bar.

Parking: Parking is plentiful.
