“Discovered Metro Bistro several years ago. I’m from Topeka & come to Andover/Wichita frequently & Metro Bistro has become a favorite! Their service is friendly & efficient, the chef is amazing & dishes are different than any other restaurant. Love the music & unique atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5 Stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Redrock Canyon Grill last night for a birthday dinner. There was double booking on our reservation that we placed a week ago, and we got the short end of the stick. Poor communication aside though, here's how dinner went. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and when it came out, the plate had like 6 chips on it. Seemed pretty steep for the price ($15), but we asked for more chips and they brought out an entire plate more for free. It came with the dip, as well as a small cup of salsa. Both tasted great! Extra chips made up for the perceived lack of portion size. For a main course, I got the 10oz Filet with mashed potatoes, and "something green" (green beans). The Filet was excellently prepared at requested "medium", with a ton of flavor! It was a stark contrast to what we got at Salt**ass. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, with a nice crust! Sizes came in 6oz(?), 10oz, and 14oz. Easily the best steak I've had at a restaurant. I wish I would've gotten the 14oz, but not because I was still hungry....I just didn't want to good time to end. 🥴 Next up was the mashed potatoes.....and ho-lee-sht. Creamy, full of flavor! I could be wrong, but i felt like I tasted onions in them? I dont really know what's in them for sure, but i feel like I need to create a Redrock Anonymous group to deal with the withdraw I will be battling, until we inevitably go back. Green beans were also excellent. Not a lot to go over in specifics, but they were awesome, and the perfect companion to the rest of the culinary masterpieces on my plate. Our waitress was super attentive, and quick to refill drinks before they were empty. Very knowledgeable in specials and pricing, and overall a great communicator. This was literally the best meal I've had out at a restaurant, period, and Redrock is likely going to be our go-to for celebrations, and date night's from now on. “I went here because a good friend told me about how good the food was.
When I walked in, I almost walked back out. It was small and antiquated and the carpet was dirty with a strange smell. I opted to stay and ordered a couple of different things, the food is actually pretty good. A note is they don't have fountain drinks.“

“I absolutely love this place! The food is always ready in about 10 minutes and tastes incredible every single time. I’ve had the pad Thai, pad see ew, Tom yum, egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken stir fry, beef jerky with sticky rice. All amazing! The staff is so friendly and sweet, especially with my son, which makes it even more special for us. And the matcha melon drink is literally made of dreams!!“

I sent it back to have it cooked longer...they cooked another and made sure I was happy. I believe it was the manager that came personally to our table. “Me and my girlfriend decided to pay a visit to Fried Rice on E. Pawnee. Its my first time coming here in over a decade. I ended up going with combo fried rice which came with bits of red pork, tiny shrimp, and chicken chunks. Back in the early 2000's if I remember correctly, everything was made to order. But today, they already had the fried rice put together. Everything was still warm though. Obviously it wasn't cooked too long before I got there. I'll have to say, the fried rice was just decent. Nothing too special about it. But the egg rolls were delicious. They were stuffed with meat, noodles and cabbage with a bunch of black pepper. I throughly enjoyed them. There was also a choice of canned pop that came with the meal. I went with grape. All in all, for seven dollars, you can't beat that price for what you got.“

“I would classify this as more of a Tex-Mex style restaurant but having said that, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors!

The salsa is served mild and hot but the hot is more of a mild-medium. Ask for the spicy one made with jalapeños. It was fantastic and you will not be disappointed!!

Hubby ordered the burritos and they are served with a very delightful queso sauce ontop. Beef and chicken - both were great.

I had the sopes and although the chile verde was quite flavorful, the masa was super hard around the edges which were too hard to even cut with the steak knife (really!) Once I removed the outter ring the rest of the cake was fine and had great flavor.

Our server was kind. There was no wait for a table which I did find unusual for a Friday night. I was not complaining at all though - speedy service is great when a restaurant isn’t slammed. lol

Overall, I’d give it a whirl again and maybe try something new next time.“

“My first time in this evening and i was very impressed. The waiter explained several dishes and recommended a few items as well. We chose the calamari which was huge and not chewy at all. Very nice! Also artichoke dip. I loved the pita breadbut wasn’t a fan of the chip it was super hard and i couldn’t really bite through it. Otherwise it was also fantastic. I opted for that trio kabob with mushroom risotto and veggies which were cooked perfectly. The brandy sauce and peppercorn something or other weren’t my favorite and i’m glad i chose them on the side. However the kabobs were cooked perfectly and the steak was so easy to chew. Kudos to the staff for keeping the place super clean and organized and the kitchen crew for making some amazing dishes this evening!“
