“We ordered from this restaurant when I was here in December 2022 visiting grandchildren. I'm from Arizona, I live literally on the border with Mexico. I was curious about the taco pizza and ordered it this time. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this pizza was. Granted it did not have a real Mexican food taste but for a place in central US, they did a good job. I wish the Pizza Hut where I live offered these menu items. I'm a picky eater and this Pizza Hut has got to be my favorite. The food tastes good and great customer service.“
“Subway is just a awesome, calm place to have a good sandwich. Plus, the staff is absolutely wonderful. They are all so nice and have great humor. Just one thing, the soda machine sprays alittle. ?Vegetarian options: Many different options for food.Parking: Lots of spaces to park.“
“We stopped by here from out of town on Christmas eve on our way to visit friends. Everyone here was courteous and generally cheerful. We had two orders: one a combo meal and the other a bit more complicated variety of menu items. At 2:00 in the afternoon the place was pretty busy. We got our order brought out in less than 10 minutes. They got our order perfect and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. We'll be coming back!“
“My job requires me to travel extensively through several states. While on the road, I visit a variety of new and favorite restaurants. It might be fast food, it might not, but either way- there are some standards I have come to require and look for. Some of those things are cleanliness, ambiance and especially service. Just because a person is away from home a lot doesn’t mean they can’t feel like they’re at home when dining, right? I found a place like this, which just happens to be Dairy Queen in Beloit, KS- owned and operated by Mike and Amber Heiland. From the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out- besides the fact it’s fast food- you feel at home! It’s chill and cool atmosphere, combined with an overall cleanliness you won’t find anywhere, makes a person feel at ease. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Even when busy, the food comes out quickly. This is the first fast food restaurant I’ve been to that the food comes out looking like it does in the pictures. Seems small, but it’s huge to the consumer. Presentation is key and let me tell you, they do it right! Next up, after ordering, I went to the bathroom to wash up. In a small town, this can be hit or miss. Their bathroom was very clean and you could tell it had been kept that way. No trash on the floor, the stalls and the mirrors were clean. Coming back out, before my food came out, the staff struck up a conversation. They loved their jobs (this is due to the incredible leadership they must have,) and were just all around happy and jovial. I asked what was their favorites and what I should get next time. The interesting thing was, they never stopped moving and were constantly working. When my food came out and they handed it to me in the bag (I was on the road and wanting to get home,) the workers up front all said, “Have a safe trip!” The food was hot, crisp and fresh! The burger was the best fast food burger I have had in a long time. Combine that with the hot, crispy, PERFECTLY cooked fries just perfected the meal! Mike and Amber- keep doing what you’re doing! The service and overall experience I had rivaled anything I have EVER ran into. The cleanliness, atmosphere, even the lighting was incredible. Thank you to you both and your crew!
