Best meal we had on the road! Real home cooked meal! Stop if you're hungry and looking for a great place to eat!
We found this place looking on Yelp for a.Colby (I-70) lunch stop…NEVER would have just stumbled across it. It was a gem of a home-cooking style cafe!! Attentive service and such satisfying food! I had the mushroom Swiss burger. Cooked med-rare as requested and served on a special tasty bun (Hawaiian-roll type?). I was glad I went with onion rings (YUM!) instead of French fries for a $2 upcharge. Husband had the 1/2 order (60+) chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes & gravy...read full review
Food was ok. small side portions chicken fried steak was good portion but not very good quality chicken strips were good. Thought I lost something there but found it later on
