I love Hays House! Not only is the history of this place amazing, the food is scrumptious and the service is even better! My wife and I drove from Topeka for Her Birthday Saturday evening to have Steak Dinner,It was Outstanding,The fried mushrooms were Amazing!!!!! Loved the Historic Atmosphere of the Building. Our waitress was Great ,we will be coming back. I am coming for the country fried steak dinner next .
just returned from a great weekend at the lake, visited the Hays House on Thursday evening. we've made this a part of most trips when in town, previous years have been hit or miss. Thursday evening was a big hit, best food we've enjoyed there in years! I had the chicken fried steak dinner and was extremely pleased, one of the best I have had anywhere. husband had the fried chicken dinner special. equally pleased. our compliments to the chef and team, keep up the good work....read full review
