To be clear, this is the subway in Council Grove, KS. I was appreciative of them being open on a holiday. None of the local flavor restaurants were open. My sandwich, chicken teriyaki, was tasty. My dining companions were also happy with their varied choices. For some odd reason they were out of mayo. Not a big issue, just thought it odd. We left happy with full tummies. About $10 apiece including drinks.
No dining in in here yet, every other subway in the area is open to Dining in. For some odd reason they don't wrap the sandwiches in the first white paper wrap. Makes the sandwich contents fall out all over the place. I do appreciate the good food but when I'm forced to eat in my car it's nice that everything stays inside my sandwich when I take a bite of it. Please bring back the practice of two paper wraps. Clean and friendly staff.
