Saddlerock Cafe is a small town restaurant that offers a simple and genuine dining experience. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere and is popular among locals for its large portions and reasonable prices. The menu features a variety of options, including a mushroom swiss burger with fries, a ham salad with added egg, and a big salad. The food is known for being very good, family diner style, and there was a lot of choice. The chicken fried steak was very tender, homemade and lots of gravy. The homemade cranberry orange and Pina colada bread are delicious. The cinnamon rolls are a must-try.
The service is friendly and very helpful, but it may take some time to get a menu and order, so the service was slow. The cafe can get busy, especially on Sundays, so be prepared to wait for a table. Parking is not a problem, as there is a spacious gravel parking lot available. If the lot is full, the cafe is full. They are very kid friendly, and gave a daughter a whole coloring book.
Overall, Saddlerock Cafe is a great choice for those who appreciate a laid-back, old-school cafe with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere.
