We had a fairly large party and they were packed full and we still had wonderful service! Every person was kind, helpful, and attentive. The food was delicious as well! Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience!
The food was great, nice size portion and good options, service very friendly, and they went way above and beyond to help get a lost item back to me. Really enjoyed everything about this diner. Highly recommend!
Passing through town and stopped for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Everything was SO good...delicious biscuits and gravy, pancakes as big as your head, and great service! The place was packed but we were still seated quickly!

Commercial Street Diner in Emporia, KS is highly recommended for its fantastic breakfast. The chicken fried steak is the best, and the biscuits, sausage, and gravy are excellent. The portions are huge, and the pancakes are the size of a plate. The service is friendly and attentive, making it worth returning to, even if you have to wait due to the crowds. Customers mention a true authentic diner feel, with home cooked meals like back in the 70s. The food travels extremely well, and the Omelette was delightful and tasty. The service was brisk and polite.
