Close to 50 years eating at the House of Ma with family. Consistently great food. Sorry to see that the are retiring (end of Aug 2026) but everyone deserves some rest after that length of time. Thank you for so many wonderful memories and happy meals!

House of Ma Restaurant is a long-standing establishment known for consistently great food over many years, with some guests dining there for close to 50 years. It offers great authentic Chinese food with no buffet, described as a real old-time restaurant with a teapot on the table and chopsticks on request. Popular menu items include Beef in foil, combo fried rice, mandarin chicken, combination lo mein, egg rolls, pork appetizer, shrimp appetizer, and chow mein. The egg rolls are considered the best anywhere. One guest enjoys sitting at the round table with a large lazy Susan in the middle to order a bunch of things and share with friends. However, some experiences vary; one visit involved an unfriendly hostess, raised prices not shown on the menu, and a disappointing $16.99 combination lo mein that did not fill the plate. The restaurant is retiring at the end of August 2026. Alice is noted as incredible, and guests recommend saying hello to her.
