“Red Onion Cafe has done an amazing job of making the situation of my wife's knee replacement surgery and overnight hospital confinement a much easier experience. The wonderful staff has gone above and beyond to provide food, not only for my wife's in room meals, but those of mine and my daughter. The food was delicious, every Red Onion employee was extremely helpful, and Red Onion's presence had a positive effect on the entire atmosphere of the hospital.
Every employee I dealt with put forth extra effort to make certain I was well cared for. When I ordered my first meals I was given a coupon for a discount on my next order and had had difficulty applying the coupon code in my phone app when ordering the evening meals. My cashier went to great lengths to make certain that the discount was applied when I completed the purchase. After returning to my wife's room where her evening meal had already been brought to her, I was giving my daughter her part of the food and the employee who had taken my order knocked on the door with some more of my food that I had inadvertently left behind in the Cafe. I am tremendously grateful to Red Onion for their excellent service and I really appreciate all they did for us.“

“Recommended by a friend, I stopped in while driving back to Joplin. I chose a ham sandwich and they asked if it was okay if the fresh ham was still warm? Still warm?! Yes! Just wheat bread cheese lettuce and ham. I don't eat pie and there was fresh peach pie or cobbler? on the counter. I bought that too. The ham sandwich did not require condiments. I would have had just a plate of ham if I had known how good it was. I also ate the pie. It was so GOOD!“
