“Freddy Simon was an American hero and a local Kansas treasure. It's remarkable how fast Freddy's franchises have spread across the country. That said, it's not my favorite, but it's more about my personal preferences rather the quality. Some folks love smash burgers, I prefer thicker burgers. Some love the thin shoestring fries, I find them more difficult to eat, especially when on the go. Despite this, I still stop by occasionally and I'm never disappointed by the quality of the meal. The custard is always delicious and some of the seasonal concretes are exceptional. That's good enough that I will continue to patronize this great locally founded place.“

“Decent food. Seating areas needed cleaned, wiped off & trash thrown out. Employees friendly, but don't know much about their products. I asked if several non-sandwich items contained onions (due to an allergy). All I got was I don't knows. They admitted never having tried or being told about any of the items I asked about.“

“Your typical 5 Guys restaurant/ atmosphere. That said, it isn't a negative thing. It's a pretty unique atmosphere that fosters an old timey feel as there's boxes of free all you can eat peanuts. The food is always cooked fresh right in front of you.
The staff here are always friendly, polite, attentive to the details of your order, and generally seem happy and to get along well with each other as there's usually some funny conversations happening. Overall, every single time I'm around, I always stop at this specific 5 Guys to grab a bit to eat.
Be it eating I side, outside on their patio area under an umbrella (which is really nice when the weather is good), or take out over never had a bad experience here. As is 5 Guys fry style, there is always PLENTY of fries to go around - even as a "little fry" order.
If you're looking for a really good burger with an authentic American feel/taste, I highly recommend you stop here. You won't regret it. I know I never do. ?“
