“We were passing through town and decided to stop at The Bean! This not only is the cutest cafe but has some of the best food and drink! The Mac & Cheese is by far the best i’ve had and their Watermelon Mojito Refresher is a great alternative. Highly recommend! I will definitely make the 2 hour drive just for it!”

“We don't get out to K & M often, but thoroughly enjoy it when we do. I had the combination dinner with brisket and turkey, with cole slaw and cottage cheese for my sides. Service is always fast and friendly, the decor cute and homey with a western feel. Great sauces, pork tenderloins, and onion rings, too! I generally don't need this much sauce, but I was really feeling the spicy sauce today, don't judge 😂.”

“Yesterday I went for a fish sandwich, and my fish sandwich was a substitute for the regular fish you use, I was very, very disappointed, makes for less visits when you try to pull a fast one. It was a piece of fish from the frozen food section at a local store, maybe equivalent to fish a sticks... Arby's please don't make your store look bad, and go on the negative list. I love a good roast beef sandwich, but was not a red meat day for me.. may not order a fish sandwich again, shame cause your authentic fish Sammy is the bomb diggity!! 🤔😉 just saying.”

“First time this location. Late lunch on a day of travel. Ate inside. Counter staff and wait staff were friendly. Food was well prepared and freshly cooked. Tables and self service area were well kept and clean. Will stop here again in the future when traveling I-35.”

“Whenever my job brings me to KC I make a point of going to The Hide Out. Back in the day I was being sought-after by some yellow bellies who called themselves Bounty Hunters. So I'm hiding out at The Hide Out. I saw them first and jumped down a hatch that offered a more private exit. Besides this feature the place rocks. I drink to get drunk and these guys get me home every some how. Good chow, great service, and a very elegant restroom. You know your close when you spot the burnt ruins of some trouble maker's compound.”

“Called in today to place an order for pickup. I was looking to order dinner items, not lunch and received the rudest response from the woman that answered the phone. After being advised that I could order ANYTHING all day with the exception of baked potatoes, I felt like I wanted to hang up and not give this resturant my hard earned money! As a customer being corrected in such a tone of voice. She sounded disgusted even having to bother with my call. I took a breath and tried to ask for the sandwich, and two dinner items as I wanted them. I was barked at when asked YOU want your bun AND dressing on the side?? Yes, my son is having to warm it up later after school. Why did I even have to explain myself, I am paying! The rudeness continues to end of my order as well as the dry, hateful treatment at pick up. I can tell you that myself nor any of my family will ever order or visit this restaurant again and trust that my friends will hear about the service this resturant provides. Last and final order!”

“In the last year, fries, and any fried meats (fish, chicken), and the fries are WAY too salty. Someone in management should speak with the cook(s) and let them know this. Many of the items I mentioned, are actually burnt. It has gotten to the point, I may not go back. 😡😠 Bathrooms need a remodel, too! 😡😱”
