Downtown Sampler offers a diverse menu featuring berry salads, great sandwiches, Mexican dishes, and daily specials. The restaurant provides catering services for events and private evening dining for groups. With a comforting atmosphere, great food, and good service, it’s considered a hidden gem. Located on the 2nd floor of First National Bank in downtown Hutchinson, KS, it serves breakfast and lunch with a good menu selection, including a soup and salad bar. The food is hot, tasty, and reasonably priced, making it a great spot to try. Customers often discover it as a nice surprise, with friendly staff and delicious options like soups, salads, sandwiches, and the 2 egg omelette with hash browns and wheat toast. The portions are generous, and the quality is excellent, with prices under $20. The atmosphere may feel a bit old or office-like, but the parking is plentiful, especially street parking during lunch hours. The restaurant is kid-friendly with a reasonably priced kids menu, offering items like chicken tenders, which can be customized with more tenders if requested.
