Comfortable dining experience and family friendly. They offered us a “baby-tizer” which was a small, free meal for our toddler and it was perfect. Our pizzas were delicious, too.

I really like this pizza is the closest taste to the original one from Napoles Italy, I love the crunchy that it gets when is made in firewood oven, fresh ingresients, absolutly the Margaryta is my favorite one , highly recommended

Been here a few times and it's always good. We went with the gluten free Margherita and it was succulent. I dropped a point for no black pepper available, and no basil (gasp) on the Margherita. Tomates on the margherita are extra. Still, one of the most enjoyable gluten free pizzas. We'll be back.
SUCH amazing service. They have IKEA high chairs which are my fave for kids. They offered me a little plate of small bite things for my hungry toddler, the bambino kids meal is an incredible deal, the atmosphere is great, the patio is beautiful!!

Great service and friendly staff. Owner was amazing. A must do when in Kansas City , MO
If you’re looking for a Neapolitan pizza this isnt it. The pizza is delicious, and it used to be Neapolitan style but now it’s not. I think they’re hoping we wouldn’t notice. The pizza crust is very thin, like a Roman style pizza. Again, it’s delicious, but it isn’t Neapolitan.

This was such a disappointing experience. Met my dinner companion at 6 and ordered. Salad was brought out at 6:15. My pizza never arrived until my friends got up and asked for it. Then 10+ minutes later they brought me something that’s not even on the menu. I’m so confused how they thought that was my order. Chicken, tomatoes, banana peppers and bbq sauce. When I took that back up, they urgently made my correct pizza which was The Prized Pig (received at 6:48pm) and it doesn’t look anything like the photo on the website. The bbq sauce on this is more like thousand island dressing. Pretty disappointing experience. If we return, I’ll stick to Margherita only. The staff was clueless, but very nice. Food took way too long for a very empty restaurant at a 6pm on a Saturday night. Apparently saturday night kids eat free so my son’s food was free which helped an otherwise salty experience.

The pizza was delicious! The crust was thin and crispy, not what I expected from what I thought would be a traditional neapolitan pizza. The ingredients were fresh. The atmosphere was modern but also very relaxed. You looked at a menu on the wall and then ordered at a counter. The sodas were refillable and self-service. It was all delicious and the staff were super friendly.

We stopped in here as a secondary option due to another place having a ridiculous line around the building. I am glad that we went here instead. This was our first time visiting 1889 Pizza Napoletana and we will for sure be back.
When we walked in we really liked the aesthetics of the restaurant. It was very clean and well kept.
The staff greeted us right away and informed us where the menu was as it was our first time. There are numerous selections to choose from.
I ordered The Butcher pizza and it was amazing. I definitely could’ve shared with my significant other and would have been content. The serving sizes are roughly a medium pizza so they could easily be split between 2 people.
The atmosphere was inviting and they had a solid play list playing in the restaurant.
Overall we were thoroughly impressed and plan to return next time we’re in Kansas City.

As someone from the East Coast, this is the best pizza in KC...hands down. It's neapolitan style.

The first time I was here, wonderful!. But now I came back the place had trash on all tables. The waitress didn't even give us silverware. Had to sit at a dirty table. Just not want I experience the first time. Probably won't come back.

This place was AMAZING and so well decorated. Even had the history/certificate of the owner who went to Pizza Academy in Italy. The food was great and well presented. The (not really downfall) was the staff was pretty busy and our orders came out all at different times. It wasn't anything to big to complain about. Everyone was great and so helpful in navigating the menu. We definitely added it to our favorite food spots AND its local business. 👌
