“Best restaurant in Kansas City hands down!! Walking into Baba's is like walking into another world, everyone is so kind (even the customers!) it's infectious. Order anything from here and you'll be shocked at how amazing it is. Phenomenal vegetarian options! Incredible pantry take home treats! Best fries and shawarma in KC!
Vegetarian options: Falafel, hummus, falafel sandwich, baba ghanoush and much more. So many options!
Dietary restrictions: Great for anyone halal or vegetarian. Vegan sandwiches can definitely be done by request everyone here is very accommodating!
Parking: Plenty of parking space at the lot off of 63rd“

“We stopped there today for the first time because we heard it was so good. And it was amazing. Want to try everything on the menu. It was hard to choose because everything looked so good. And everyone loves everything when reccomending what to eat. The owners are so friendly and gave us samples to try. We had the warm chicken spedinni sandwich with Alfredo sauce. Awesome!“

“My wife and I go to Scimeca's for take out lunch and have always been very pleased with our food. Today I tried the new Tuesday special, the meatball cheeseburger sandwich with all the fixings with an add on side of Caprese Salad and it was absolutely superb and just $10.95. Great job!“

“I had ordered an item for lunch that was a little incorrect. I still wanted to eat it, because the food is amazing, and saved it for after work. When I went in to get some sauce, I explained why I was only there to buy sauce. Jackson and Charlize were AMAZING! They offered to correct the order from earlier in the day, although they had nothing to do with it… I was humbled by their act of kindness. Not only does this place have great food, their employees are super welcoming and have a great work ethic. Shoutout to CJ who was also working in the back!“

“PROs: Friendly staff and quick service. Their gelato is the best I've had in KC. Sufficient size in one scoop.
CONs: Depending on the time of day, homeless folks hang out next to the Deli area. It could be a nuisance if you plan to sit outside.“
“I was craving a breakfast sandwich and some coffee. Both did not disappoint! Quiet, small town diner feel in the heart of the Crossroads. The touristy coffee place down the street was way too busy and this proved to be a great decision. Will be going back.“
