“This place is a GEM. The food is far superior! That pastrami melted in my mouth. There was another sandwich that had capicola I was eyeballing. I regretted not getting full on first sandwich so I came back 4 hours later to get a half of that sandwich. It did phenomenal as well. I can't remember his name, the gentleman in the Boston Scally Cap was a delight to talk to, he was very knowledgeable and you can see he has a passion for the place. I dream about that food. I looking forward to bring my parents for those Reubens, so delicious 😋 😍 🤤“

“I’ve been here a few times and the food is always delicious. I took my mom here a few weeks ago for her first time, it was a Thursday at lunch and still no open tables. We went behind the curtain and sat down as some tables didn’t have chairs on top and seemed open seating. It was cool back there and we were glad to have seating. The lady with the colored hair and piercing got my drink wrong so I had to go back up and tell her so. She gave me a side eye like I ordered the wrong thing when I know I did not. Then told me the area behind the curtain is off limits, and I should have known that because of the chairs on the tables. Very passive aggressively, the white lady behind the counter repeated it. It’s one thing to politely say the area is closed, it’s another to imply we’re dumb for eating there. What’s dumb is we had to eat outside on a hot day despite them having plenty of seating. My mom is a humble woman, so she didn’t mind, but this wasn’t the kind of experience I wanted to give her. Not sure who these smart-asses are, but they could stand to be more polite and understanding, not weird to customers.“

“My son and I were in KC for a day to go to an event at the arena. We didn't realize there were World Cup activities going on near the arena and every close by restaurant was packed with world cup events. It was about 330pm and we just started wandering the nearby blocks and came across this deli. It was a one woman show, but the food was cooked right in front of us. The portion was large. The veg were all fresh. I had the gyro platter. It came with a gyro, fries and a drink. My son had the chicken tenders. My gyro was great and the fries were perfectly cooked! The portion was huge for me. This was a gem of a find!“
