McGregor's Butcher Shoppe Deli is a gem. The food is far superior, with the pastrami melting in your mouth. The steak sandwich is one of the best sandwiches ever had. The pastrami reuben with extra meat is probably the best reuben ever had, much better than a Jewish deli in the San Francisco Bay Area that made their pastrami and corned beef fresh daily. The cheddar prime sandwich is phenomenal. The hot dog is top notch. The pastrami breakfast sandwich might have upstaged the donuts, with incredible meat and a fantastic biscuit. The farmers breakfast will bring people back for more of their homemade sausage gravy. They also have breakfast and a restaurant side open later in the day. The staff is super friendly. It is great for a casual laid back lunch vibe with seating in the shop and some outdoor seating on the sidewalk. A 24 lb Turkey for thanksgiving was quick and easy, with fresh turkeys and brining available. Kinda pricey, but well worth it. Five stars all day.
