If you are on a quest for the best Springfield Cashew Chicken or General Tsos Chicken in the Kansas City area look no further than Tao Tao. A very friendly family business and Chef Anne’s amazing cooking infused with love. Everything we had was fantastic including all the different types of crab rangoon. Ordered chicken fried rice and orange chicken. The chicken fried rice was lacking flavor and very bland, I could have made that at home lol. The Orange chicken was ok, crispy and flavorful, not spicy at all. With all these good reviews I couldn’t wait to try, I probably wouldn’t be back. My search for good Chinese food continues.
This was a wonderful surprise. I never got the chance to try this place even if I saw it often. It's so delicious! The restaurant itself was so pleasant to visit. But the food impressed me most! I never really found a Chinese place I really loved in KC but Tao Tao but so yummy. Even the smell of the spices while taking it home in the car was great.
