1900 Barker on Mass Reviews
What a wonderful breakfast burrito! I know this much….if that tomatillo salsa is made in house, you need to be selling that by the jar in café and at the Merc!
Get there early, they are guaranteed to sellout daily! the service, the lines out the door, says it all. Small and mighty D-DANG-DELICIOUS wish I could give them more stars 🌟
Always love Barker St Bakery. Everything I've had from bread to pastries and coffee have been wonderful. It also has a great neighborhood small cafe vibe.

1900 Barker on Mass is a beloved local cafe known for its exceptional coffee, delectable pastries, and satisfying breakfast offerings. The cozy atmosphere and relaxing vibe make it a popular spot for both locals and visitors alike. The coffee is consistently well-roasted, delivering rich, full-bodied flavors, with espresso notes of molasses and velvety cocoa undertones. The dairy-based drinks are praised for their excellent quality, thanks to the use of Hildebrand dairy products. The breakfast sandwich, with its light and fluffy egg, crisp bacon, and delectable croissant-like bun, is a standout menu item, widely regarded as one of the best in the area, along with the wonderful breakfast burrito and its tomatillo salsa. The bakery also boasts a wide selection of tempting pastries, including the beloved chocolate croissant. Customers enjoy the fresh pastries, which have a nearly old-world style, and can choose to sit outside or inside while crafting their order at the counter. The atmosphere is lively and friendly, with many appreciating the overall vibe of this place. Although the patio could be a little cleaner, the food, coffee, service, and baked goods are consistently praised. The cafe's wifi turns off at 10:30 AM, which has surprised some, but the fast service and tasty offerings keep visitors coming back. The bakery’s packaging has been a disappointment for some, making it difficult to take pastries home, especially for later. Overall, 1900 Barker on Mass remains a favorite destination, often selling out early, so arriving early is recommended.
