About Bird Dog Bar at The Oread
Bird Dog Bar at The Oread Reviews
The waitress was very friendly and authentic. She had several mishaps which reminded me of my waitressing days. She charmingly navigated her way through them. The food was ok - pancakes dry, the Denver skillet was dry too but a good size. The syrup container was very sticky. The bacon was cooked well. It's convenient for where we are staying - not sure if it's worth driving to especially when it's cold outside.
Menu
The Bird Dog Bar at The Oread offers a fried cod sandwich with a generous side of beer battered fries, as well as a creme brulee cheesecake that comes highly recommended. The service is exceptional, with attentiveness and warmth that makes guests feel valued. However, the food quality can be inconsistent, as some have found the Easter buffet offerings to be disappointing. The seating is good, but the service can be limited due to a single waitress handling the entire dining area. Nonetheless, the Bird Dog Bar is known for its great experience, with friendly service, exceptional hospitality, and delicious food, particularly the french fries, wings, and pretzels. The Voo Doo Chicken with Asparagus is also highly recommended, described as the most delicious chicken dish by one customer.
