Had a great experience before leaving Lawrence this morning. The cafe we were planning on going to for breakfast was closed, so we went a couple storefronts down to Global Cafe. The weather was gorgeous and we ate outside. I had a fantastic smoothie and latte. In the time it took us to finish our meal, I watched as the waitstaff handed out no less than eight free to-go breakfasts and coffees to what appeared to be people without housing. Always amazing food & drink with amazing service. Server April in particular always takes exceptionally good care of us. Above and beyond. And so dog friendly! Love this place!
Great food, lattes, and smoothies. Love that they provide sack meals to the homeless and people are friendly.
