Yokohama Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Funny to be reviewing a sushi restaurant because I honestly do not like sushi at all. Same with sashimi. Yuck! However, I caved to peer pressure and went to eat at Yokohama and enjoyed it very much. There was plenty of selections on the menu for those of us not trendy enough to like sushi. It is a texture thing for me and not one of taste. I went to Yokohama Sushi for lunch today (09 MAY 2019). The place was clean, the waiter was friendly, and the food arrived in a timely manner. I liked the atmosphere and decorations as well. I ordered the Chicken Katsu lunch special, which was pretty good. I thought that the rice and side salad helped the meal be more balanced along with the fried meat.

For a sushi place it is relatively inexpensive. This food is great to order out when I have a lot of work to do. Eating in, the staff is very helpful. If they are running behind, they bring out stuff for you to snack on, on the house. This place is in my contact list because I order carry out a lot, but I did once accidentally call here when I meant to call the vet when I found that my dog had found the chocolate poptarts (super embarrassing) and the person who answered helped...read full review
