“Arrived on a weekend shortly before closing (I know food places love that). I could see the whole counter but there were no donuts. The woman working said they had sold out and were closed. My life flashed before my eyes and I started to tear up. The woman, confused and vaguely afraid, produced a white box from somewhere, indicating it was all she had left. A whole family was approaching, so I said I'd buy them all, sight unseen. Just then the family came in; it was a couple with their beautiful grandchildren, ready to make sweet memories. I got to say "they're closed" and I'm not even the littlest bit sorry. I opened the box in my truck and found half a dozen perfect donuts. I contemplated about my missing husband and grandchildren and began feeding to self soothe. Possibly not the healthiest coping method but definitely the most delicious. This was a victory for singles everywhere, plus I found a fave donut shop. In the words of Michael Scott: it was a win-win-win.“

“Watch how much they charge you. I purchased 2 dozen and a half and was charged 82.00. Called and talked to owner and they did not make it right. i will NOT come back again. They rip you off.“

“I stopped by earlier in the week to get some ice cream, delicious BTW, and noticed they had breakfast food. Ihad to come back by and try, and I am soglad I did! Ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and a 1/2 B&G. The sausage was NOT a preformed pattie, eggs scrambled to perfection and folded over cheese, spring mix, and, I can only guess, an aioli spread. It was a great breakfast sandwich. The gravy was meaty with a nice consistency. We'll be back to try more items soon! I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“This reminded me of an old school walk in donut shop. There’s a couple counters of donuts and a nice variety of donuts. There’s glaze was really good, just on the doughy side but not too heavy with the right amount of glaze. Service was great and the other donuts I ordered were also tasty. 7.7/10 stop in and get a dozen.

“First I want to start off by saying this place has great donuts, they are my favorite and if I can get up in time to get some I do. Also the price is great.
Something I think people need know is an older couple run the whole operation, the husband primary makes the donuts while the wife assists and runs the register. They have a high demand and they run out fast, and because of that people have started calling in to place orders which gets overwhelming for them so sometimes they disconnect the phone. They sleep a short time during the day then get up in the afternoon. All evening into the morning they make donuts for opening (for call in orders and walk ins).
Like I said I do my best to get there early to get what I want but if they don’t have it or they are closed I don’t get upset. I know how hard they work. Worst case scenario, a Lamar donut shop is literally a block over.“

“Over the past decade ive been eating at Daylight Donuts, i always had a problem with how much frosting they put on top. Its way too little. Sometimes you take a bite and you end up filling your mouth with dough.
Went back here a couple weeks ago and it was the same. The frosting is really good too, why not put more on there?
But aside from that, this restaurant has really friendly staff and decent atmosphere. Donuts are also really good despite the issue i already discussed. A good 4 stars. It mightve improved since our last visit, but i havent came back yet.“

“We ordered 4 donuts. All of them exceeded expectations. They were warm, fluffy, and sweet. We also ordered coffee. My son accidentally spilled the entire cold brew, and the employee (I think she was the manager) replaced it without question. Customer service was great, and we enjoyed watching them put toppings on the donuts while we waited.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly.“

“Chris was SO helpful! Went in not really knowing what we wanted, my gf doesn’t like chocolate and is super new to health stuff! He made us both feel welcome and answered all our questions and had great recs. Hooked us up with blueberry muffin protein powder, yummy meals, and little bite snacks! We will definitely be back! My eyes are on the strawberry sorbet powder next! ? “

“I like to try places that look interesting at least once and give the benefit of the doubt. The mochinuts were good and they had some nice flavors. They had a promotion for the day if you bought half a dozen you got free ice cream. The individuals behind the counter were also friendly.“

“It's my guilty pleasure to go get a French cruller from this place. Everytime I go there, ladies working there are very nice. The service is quick and the food is tasty. One time they messed my order up and I went in and they swapped it out. Easy process. Thanks again!“
