“I try to be honest and fair with my reviews and with this store, it was honestly one of the nicer smoothie kings I have been too recently. While there were only two employees there, they did their best to accommodate everyone coming in, they were very polite, and did apologize for the wait. While I understand the wait could be frustrating to some, I get that stores are understaffed and the employees who do show up and want to be there (or have to) are doing the best they can to make sure the customers have a good experience. We ordered 4 smoothies and all tasted yummie! Only reason why I am giving 4 stars is that I just wish they had more product on their shelves to make the space seem more full rather than empty. Also, when it comes to the product on the shelf, more research on the products and the health benefits should go into it because sometimes it feels that they put out what is more popular at the time than the snacks and such with actual good benefits. I understand that may not be up to each individual store, but just a wish.“

“One of the quickest and friendliest interactions I’ve had at Smoothie King, and I go a lot back home in Houston, Tx, (they are everywhere, lol lol). With that being said, usually it will still take some time, but it here in KC, MO, just two people working and the process was perfect.! lol too bad this will probably be a one or maybe two time visit only :(. lol. “Love Tropical Smoothie, but not this location. When a drink comes with the lime straw, it should be a given. Arguing about it and then saying we need to pay for them when it specifically says on the website that the edible lime straw comes with the mango drink! No problem though, we just took our 4-6 drink order (every day Mon-Fri) plus tip somewhere else. No need to be embarrassed in front of other people over a straw that comes with a drink.“

“I was in today and picked up my order. I usually go between a few locations as it depends on where I’m heading next. This is my favorite SK ever! The app order is always accurate (unlike others) and it’s usually waiting for me…again, unlike other locations. But today….they put my order in a protective bag to keep it safe from allergens. I have a food allergy and in all the years, this was a first! ❤️ Thankfully my reactions aren’t that severe, but there are many who fear contamination due to the severe reactions of just close proximity. Thank You!“

“Over the past decade ive been eating at Daylight Donuts, i always had a problem with how much frosting they put on top. Its way too little. Sometimes you take a bite and you end up filling your mouth with dough.

Went back here a couple weeks ago and it was the same. The frosting is really good too, why not put more on there?

But aside from that, this restaurant has really friendly staff and decent atmosphere. Donuts are also really good despite the issue i already discussed. A good 4 stars. It mightve improved since our last visit, but i havent came back yet.“

Shout out to Allen and his colleague for making sure we knew about the specials, knowledgeably answering our questions, double-checking if we wanted a dairy alternative for just one or both of our coffees, making our drinks with care, and some short but fun conversation about the daily trivia question. It really was an uplifting way to start the grocery errand and a treat to sip while shopping the aisles.“
